You begin in the Hammerhead, a small frigate, at the edge of a hostile sector. Waves of enemy fighters drop alloy and EP. Upgrades bought with those make the ship hit harder. The shipyard commissions a larger hull when you want one: the Corvette, then the Destroyer, then the Carrier. Each is a new ship, not the Hammerhead grown bigger.

Features

  • Turrets aim, fire and collect loot on their own, so you do not tap each shot.
  • You choose what to fit, which stats to upgrade, and when to push deeper into the sector.
  • Commission new ships in the Berths. The Corvette, the Destroyer and the Carrier are each their own hull, with more weapon mounts and more room slots.
  • Fit pulse lasers, autocannons, flak and other guns to individual mounts. Each mount has its own firing arc.
  • Super bosses appear, including capital ships with turrets you can shoot off, and deeper sectors come after them.
  • A challenge sector gets new rules every Monday.

Was going to report this in game, but the character limit was too short. Maybe I'm missing something, but ships always seem to get really close to my sides despite many of my weapons showing their range cones as covering those areas. This is almost always what ends my runs and is rather obnoxious.

Report something anyway in game (I will look at increasing the character limits) that way you can gain some in-game rewards

Yes weapon range arcs need some work still, I will try taking a look at them tomorrow

Thank you to everyone for feedback and bug reports!
In-game feedback rewards are on the way. If you sent a report that helped, keep an eye out next time you play

Can't move ship so cant pick up shards from beaten enemies...kind of ruins it.

You can research upgrades for bigger pick up radius and also get salvage drones. Build the research center and take a look there

Thanks for the feedback. I'm making it so resources will drift backwards allowing more to be collected. Some being lost is intended to make the tractor beam and salvage upgrades worth getting but I may have been too hash

I installed the repair system in one of the mounts on my first ship, then upgraded to a different ship, and now I cannot ever use repair systems again apparently? You can replace a thing that is installed in your current ship's weapon slots, but there's no way to uninstall from the collection screen and no way to switch back to a lower level ship.

Without a way to repair, and with shields apparently doing nothing, eventually it doesn't matter how much firepower you have because each enemy unit will get one shot off before it dies and your hull is inevitably eroded away.

Also many weapons have damage numbers change by a different value from what is displayed before you buy the upgrade, which is confusing.

For the shields. You need the module and place emitters on weapon slots for it to work. I was also missing that

Thanks for the feedback, there is a passive ship repair upgrade, and I'm fixing so we can remove weapons. Shields are also getting updated

Is there a way to increase the pickup area range that I am missing? I miss 90% of all drops.

There are upgrades you need to research in the lab for that.

I like the Game. But what is the shield supposed to do? I installed one and enemies are still just hitting my hull and my shield stays at 100%

Yea I think I've made a mistake with shields, they are meant to be a shield module + an emitter, forcing you to chose between a weapon and shield, but its not clear enough and most games don't do this. Its on my list to review

Thanks for playing and your comment :)

Is there a way to remove a Module to add another?
Also, i like the Idea with the shield emitters in place of a weapon. Now that i understand how it works^^
But yeah without knowing you need an emitter most players will just add the module and wonder why its not working.

I am actively working on that now, Modules will have their own details page and upgrades like weapons along with a scrap option
